In the News: Tulsa's Case Family Safety Center Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

Case Family Safety Center officially opened its new 65,000-square-foot facility in Tulsa with a ribbon cutting and open house on February 15, 2026. The new center represents a major investment in coordinated, trauma-informed care for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and child abuse across Tulsa County.

Designed by Ethos Architects and built by Crossland Construction, the two-story facility is located at 28th Street and Sheridan on a six-acre campus shared with Child Advocacy Network. The project brings critical services together under one secure roof, creating a centralized and survivor-centered environment that reduces barriers to care and supports long-term healing.

The Case Family Safety Center houses multiple partner agencies, allowing survivors to access law enforcement, advocacy, counseling, legal assistance, medical examinations, and court services in one location. This co-located model is designed to reduce re-traumatization and improve outcomes by eliminating the need for survivors to navigate multiple systems during moments of crisis.

The new facility is equipped to serve up to 30,000 survivors and their children each year. Features include secure entry, private intake and counseling rooms, forensic exam suites, a dedicated protective order courtroom, children’s care spaces, wellness areas, and training rooms. Every element of the building reflects best practices in trauma-responsive design, prioritizing dignity, privacy, safety, and hope.

Tulsa County continues to face some of the highest rates of domestic and family violence in the state, underscoring the urgent need for expanded, coordinated services. The new center responds directly to this need by increasing capacity and providing a safe, thoughtfully designed environment where survivors can access protection, justice, and healing.

Community leaders, donors, and public officials gathered to celebrate the milestone, recognizing nearly two decades of collaboration and investment that made the project possible. The opening marks not only a new building, but a strengthened commitment to supporting families across Tulsa County.
