CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL AT SAINT FRANCIS CARING MRI SUITE

The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis installed a new Caring MRI Suite. This very highly technical room was designed, detailed and coordinated to ultimately aid in providing the most calming and engaging atmosphere for children during required MRI exams. The scanner includes videos and relaxing nature scenes or movies that can be displayed on the ceiling. And the lighting is customizable allowing patients to select the color of the room giving them more control over the exam itself. The redesign has been very successful in getting patients through their exams without the need for additional anesthesia.
