THE CENTER FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH PHYSICAL CHALLENGES EXPANSION

Tulsa, Oklahoma

The Center Expansion project supports the continued growth of services for individuals with physical challenges in Tulsa, addressing increasing demand and expanding program offerings. As The Center’s services have grown, including the addition of Deaf and Hard of Hearing services, the existing facility has reached capacity, creating the need for additional space to better serve members and staff.

The expansion builds upon the organization’s legacy of inclusion by increasing program space, offices, and support areas to accommodate future growth. Designed to enhance accessibility and improve overall functionality, the project creates a more efficient and welcoming environment that supports The Center’s mission and strengthens its ability to serve the community.

The project includes a second-floor addition, a rare and complex undertaking that expands an existing occupied structure. The design introduces additional office space to support growing programming, along with board and training rooms, enhanced service areas, and a more welcoming entry lobby positioned adjacent to parking for improved accessibility and ease of use.
